Japan offers a sticker visa for Indian travellers. You can apply for a Japan visa by visiting one of the Visa Application Centers located in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Goa, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Puducherry, and Pune.
Travellers can get a visa with a validity ranging from 15 days to 5 years with a single or multiple-entry visa. The duration of stay, type of visa, and validity of the visa are decided by the visa officer handling your application.
Documents required for Japan Visa:
- Passport
- Old passport, if any
- Photograph (45mm x 45mm)
- Cover Letter
- Detailed Itinerary
- Travel bookings - Flight and Hotel reservations
- Last 6 months ' bank statement (signed and stamped by the bank)
- Personal ITR and the company ITR if the traveller is the director of a company
- If self-employed
- Proof of ownership - GST cert, Trade License, or any other document
- If employed
- Leave letter and/or NOC from the employer
- Last 6-month salary slips
- If traveling with a dependent, proof of relationship
- Marriage certificate in case of the spouse
- A passport copy mentioning the name of the sponsor
- Birth certificate in case of a child
- Financial document for student/dependent
- Consent letter from parents/spouse, along with government-issued photo ID proof
- Parents/spouse Last 6-month bank statement (signed and stamped by the bank)
- Parents'/spouse's latest ITR
- For students,
- An ID card from the college
- For students, leave a letter or NOC from the educational institution
- If traveling to a third country before Japan, submit a visa for that country
